Affiliate Disclosure

Last reviewed: May 2026 · Applies to: wagerlayer.com

Core principle

Wager Layer analyses platforms before any commercial relationship exists. Affiliate relationships never influence research findings. Negative findings are never suppressed because of a commercial relationship. If we can't say that honestly, we don't take the deal.

1. What an affiliate relationship is

An affiliate relationship means that when a reader clicks a specially tagged link on this site and subsequently signs up for or deposits with a platform, Wager Layer may receive a commission from that platform. This is a standard commercial arrangement in digital publishing and is used to support the costs of running this publication. The commission comes from the platform — not from you. You pay nothing extra by using an affiliate link.

2. Current affiliate status

As of May 2026, Wager Layer holds no active affiliate relationships.

The site is in the process of building content and traffic. Affiliate relationships will be established selectively over time, and only for platforms that have been independently analysed. This page will be updated — including a public list of active affiliate relationships — when any such relationships are established.

3. Our three rules

1

Analysis before commercial relationship

We only link to platforms we have already analysed and published a profile for. We do not create affiliate relationships with platforms we haven't researched.

2

Affiliate relationships never influence findings

T&C Risk Scores, clause analysis, and editorial verdicts are based solely on document research and community-reported patterns. A commercial relationship does not change our analysis. If a platform's terms worsen, the score changes regardless of the relationship.

3

All affiliate links are disclosed — no exceptions

Every page containing affiliate links carries a disclosure at the point of the link. There are no undisclosed commercial links on this site.

4. Which platform types carry affiliate links

Platform type Affiliate links
Sweepstakes Casinos Yes — selectively, disclosed
Licensed Operators Yes — selectively, disclosed
Prediction Markets No affiliate links

5. How to identify affiliate links

Pages containing affiliate links carry a disclosure notice in the relevant section. Affiliate CTAs on platform profiles are clearly labelled (e.g. "Affiliate link — we may earn a commission if you sign up"). The absence of a disclosure means the page contains no affiliate links. If you believe an affiliate link is undisclosed, please contact us — this would be an error we want to correct.

6. FTC compliance

This disclosure is made in accordance with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). As our readership is primarily US-based, we follow FTC guidance as the applicable standard regardless of our Malta base of operations.
